Aquarium of Niagara
The Aquarium of Niagara (also known as The Niagara Aquarium Foundation), is located approximately 200 meters from the Niagara River. The Aquarium of Niagara is a not-for-profit aquarium in Niagara Falls, New York, founded by a group of chemists and other scientists, on June 12, 1965. Now the Ownership is with Niagara Aquarium Foundation.
The Aquarium is committed to the tradition of education, research, and wildlife conservation.
The Aquarium of Niagara display include Humboldt penguins, California sea-lions, harbor seals, sharks, freshwater turtles, sturgeon, sea-horses, and other freshwater and saltwater fish. Also the Aquarium of Niagara happily opens its doors for rescued animals with all conditions.
The Aquarium of Niagara hosts programs for school groups, as well as birthday parties. Visitors can book encounters with harbor seals or penguins, for an extra fee.
