The 34th Pelham Art Festival Show and Sale is a Premiere Southern Ontario Spring Art Festival will be held at the Meridian Community Centre, 100 Meridian Way, in the Village of Fonthill, Town of Pelham, in the heart of the Ontario Niagara Region every Mother’s Day weekend. About 2000+ visitors attend the exhibition every year.
This festival facilitates the show and sale of prestigious original fine art by artists and artisans who collectively present thousands of choices in a vibrant array of style and medium.
More than 80 fine art artists and artisans from Ontario exhibit art ranging from original artworks in oil, acrylic, encaustic, pastel, watercolour, mixed media, photography, and pottery, ceramics, wood sculpture, segmented and turned wood, glass and jewellery. Established artists and undiscovered talents sell their artwork directly to the public and make lasting connections with patrons and collectors.
Festival proceeds benefit the Pelham libraries, to provide annual scholarships to graduating Pelham students pursuing studies in fine arts.
The Pelham Art Festival is run by a team of volunteers from across the Niagara Region.
Friday Opening Night
On Friday evening, sample hors d’oeuvres catered and served by Welland’s Rose City Kids. Guests are offered the first opportunity to purchase favourite pieces of artwork from professional artists and artisans
Saturday and Sunday
Stroll through delightful works of art, pause to enjoy a delicious treat from the a la carte menu catered by Churchhill Natural Meats, and Nature’s Corner Bakery and Cafe
